COVID-19 Update
In light of stay-at-home orders put into place around Kansas City, we are doing our part to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. According to the official executive orders, many of the services that Lula provides are still considered essential. With that said, we are continuing to educate our contractors on the proper procedures to perform services when it involves entering any type of residence (occupied or not).
Our safety precautions include, but are not limited to:
Social Distancing
Maintaining 6-feet between any contractor and resident/property manager at all times.
Protective Equipment
Wearing the proper protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and even shoe covers when necessary.
Good Hygiene
Practicing effective hygiene methods like handwashing or sanitizing before and after entering a home (even though gloves are required).
Proper Communication
Before any of our contractors provide any services, they are instructed to reach out to customers. If a customer has had the virus (or been exposed), we ask that the contractor does not proceed with the job request. We hate to turn down work in a time where so many businesses are struggling, but the faster we overcome this, the faster work can resume normally. With outdoor jobs and work that requires no person-to-person contact, safety precautions are still recommended (but not required). However, we still ask that our contractors do any of their communication through Lula technology, rather than in person. Thank you in advance for your understanding. If we are all on the same page, we can continue providing services throughout these uncertain times.
