After putting in a work order for a heating issue late in the evening for a property we are renting, Lula contacted us the next morning to schedule an appointment. A few hours later we were provided the day and time for our appointment and they text... us when the heating company was on the way. The company they sent was professional and very knowledgeable. They were able to find the issue right away and correct it. I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently Lula handled our request. I'm a handyman and as a Lula Pro who is actually semi-retired I'm really enjoying myself! The app makes it extremely easy to choose the jobs I want in the location that I want and the time frame that I want. It even reminds me when I have job... upcoming! Once the job is completed I generally get paid within 2 to 3 days straight to my bank. If there's a communication issue with a tenant, Lula support is always ready to step in and take care of that as well.No buying bogus leads, no making two to three trips to the client to quote. Oh my gosh thank you!!!!!!!! I was finally told something is definitely wrong. Third party maintenance for tenants. Even if you personally pay for a service this company will not provide a receipt or invoice directly but instead direct you to your property manager. Easily allowing property manager to upcharge. The lack of... integrity certain businesses are allowed to operate with is appalling. If your property manager is going to make you pay personally. At first, Lula handled repair scheduling professionally and fast. Then they failed to answer calls or texts, tech was no show, long wait time for repairs (a month) just to name a few. There were mistakes made by every tech that came to our home. The... shower handle was very loose in the master bathroom. It was so loose that I could move the head of shower with the handle. The tech tightened it so much that I couldn’t get hot water. Luckily he came back out the next day to fix it. We had a leak from an upstairs bathroom that caused damage to ceiling. One of the techs spray-painted the stain. He did not prep properly so spray paint went everywhere in our home. The infuriating part is that it got all over my baby’s toys and food area. I didn’t complain about past errors because the techs were nice and willing to fix mistakes. The last repair we got was the worst. A repair that was suppose to be scheduled/ repaired in a week took 15 days. The repair was to fix damage/ remove mold from ceiling caused by a toilet leak before we moved into home. At first he wanted to just paint over it until I indicated that there was mold. When he came to our home I had to ask for him to put a mask (every tech I had to ask to put mask on) on as my household is high risk. After cutting some of the ceiling he told me there was no mold but once he started cutting more he did find mold. He prepped by putting a blanket down on the floor but that did not stop by our home being covered in a layer of drywall. After he removed drywall he rubbed goof off paint spatter remover on the floor joyce... to remove mold. While he made repairs he told me the mold we had is nothing compared to what he has seen. I stated that because of asthma any amount of mold affects us. He told me that at that point I should just trust God to protect us! An hour into the repair my SO and his brother entered the house and looked at work. Both of them work in infrastructure questioned if the mold was handled appropriately and how he planned on putting drywall up with the cuts made. He got defensive and rude upon appropriate questions. He stated that they had no right to question his work and that he had more experience than anyone. He then stated that we would need to find someone else to complete repairs. He left so quickly that he left his tools here that still have not been picked up despite being almost 20 days now. I still have a hole in ceiling needing repair. Overall he was unprofessional, unpunctual, assertive. I would not recommend getting any repairs done by this company !read more
