How does the vendor vetting process work?
At Lula, we take vendor vetting very seriously. Our secret sauce is our network, so we have invested heavily in bringing in the best of the best. We currently accept less than 15% of all applicants.
Every single Pro is required to carry general liability insurance and an up-to-date license (when applicable). On top of those two minimums, our vendors undergo competency testing, review checks, and interviews. If they pass all of the initial stages of vetting, we perform a criminal background check and sex offender checks.
Once a Pro gets through the process is approved, we train them on the ins and outs of rental property maintenance.
On top of the up-front credentialing, we track their credentials throughout the year to make sure there are no lapses in coverage.
