Handyman Services

Details

Every handyman service in this catalog has a set price. You see the price before you approve the work, and it doesn’t change after the visit unless the job turns out to be different from the service described. There are no hourly rates.

Warranty

All handyman work comes with the standard 30-day warranty.

Prices are per service. The $75 service fee is added once per job.
Prices assume a like-for-like replacement with standard access, as described for each service.
Additional costs may apply in some situations.

Service Fee

Every handyman job includes a flat $75 service fee. The fee is charged once per job and doesn’t increase if the job requires more than one service or trip. For example, replacing a garbage disposal ($200) and a P-trap ($38) on the same job costs $313: $238 for the services plus one $75 service fee.

Prices below are per service. A flat $75 service fee is added once per job, no matter how many services or trips the job takes.

Replace Garbage Disposal (like-for-like)

Disconnect power and plumbing from the old disposal, install the new unit onto the mounting ring, wire and connect plumbing, and test for leaks.

Shut off water and remove the old toilet, set a new wax ring, install and secure the new toilet, connect the water supply, and test flush and fill.

Full Toilet Rebuild

Replace the fill valve, flapper, flush valve, and handle assembly inside the tank, adjust for proper flush and fill, and test for leaks.

Inspect and adjust the flapper chain to proper slack so the flapper seats and seals correctly, then test the flush cycle.

HVAC Replacements

Details

We partnered with Carrier and Goodman to solidify our buying power and offer flat-rate pricing for HVAC replacements. If we provide the diagnosis on the unit, diagnosis fees will be waived upon approval. If we don’t provide the diagnosis, the pricing remains the same unless there are special requirements for that replacement project.

Warranty

All HVAC replacements come with a standard 1-year labor warranty and a 10-year parts warranty (when registered through the manufacturer).

Diagnosis Fees

If we send an AC technician out to diagnose or repair a system, there is a $99 diagnosis fee. If the replacement quote is approved, then the original $99 diagnosis fee is waived. If the quote is not approved, that $99 invoice will still be payable. If you already have the specifications and details of the quote you need, we can provide a quote without a diagnosis fee.

Appliance Replacements

Details

We partnered with GE to provide flat-rate replacements for the most common appliances. Most appliances have two tiers, which represent different price points. All of these replacement prices include the appliance, delivery, installation, and haul-off of the old units. If you choose an appliance and it turns out to be out of stock, we will procure the next best model free of charge.

Warranty

All appliance replacements come with a 12-month labor and parts warranty provided by GE. Each unit will come pre-registered for easy warranty claims.

We’ve partnered with Lowe’s and A. O. Smith to offer national flat pricing on water heaters and installations. These prices include installation of the new tank, and removal and haul-off of the old tank. The price is based on the assumption that the unit is accessible. Pricing may vary if the unit is not accessible (example: located in the crawl space). If an expansion tank is needed, there will be a $59 charge. Permits are an additional $150, added based on job and location. Some areas may have higher fees.

Warranty

All water heater replacements come with a one (1) year labor warranty and six (6) year parts warranty. We will provide the information for registering the unit in the owner’s name.
