If you are wondering why your emergency rates didn’t apply to an after hours job that you completed, here are a few reasons that your rates didn’t apply:

1. Your Afer Hours Rates Weren’t Set: — The first thing you should do is check to make sure that your rates were set correctly in the provider dashboard. You have to manually adjust your regular hours AND after hours rates. For a more detailed breakdown on how to do that, check below:

2. Multiple Times Were Offered: — When you receive a notification, the job may have more than one window of availability. If at least one of the times available were during regular business hours, then after hours rates would not apply.

For example, if you receive a work order for tomorrow with morning, afternoon, and everning windows available, then you claim the evening window, it will still be billed at the regular rates. This is because the option for regular hours was given and you chose the after hours time.
